...I just watched this science program on TV, and learned about a alternative energy source, I hadn't heard about before.

The program talked about Thorium as a source of energy, which had the potential of producing massive amounts of energy. Thorium, or Th, is a part of the periodic table, and has the atomic number 90.

It is supposed to be safer than traditional nuclear energy, and in more abundant in nature than uranium.

So hopefully, some time soon we will start using Th in energy production instead of uranium.
